According to the latest Registers of Scotland data, the average home in Portree sold for £205,666 in 2025. That figure comes from 1,896 sales logged over the past 25 years.

Prices have fallen back over the last three years. Compared with 2022, when the typical sale came in around £257,366, that's a fall of roughly 20.1%.

Looking back five years, average prices are up about 0.7% since 2020, a gain of around £1,484 in cash terms.
