Houses for sale in Appin, Argyll and Bute

According to the latest Registers of Scotland data, the average home in Appin sold for £162,000 in 2026. That figure comes from 197 sales logged over the past 25 years.

Prices have fallen back over the last three years. Compared with 2023, when the typical sale came in around £439,386, that's a fall of roughly 63.1%.

Looking back five years, average prices are down about 61.6% since 2021, a drop of around £259,381 in cash terms.

Zoom out to the past decade for the fuller picture. Back in 2016, homes here averaged £207,642, so the typical sold price has fallen about 22% since then, around 2.5% a year lower. Stretch the view to fifteen years and that annual pace eases back to about -3.9%.
